Even though it’s been on the setlist since 2014 there’s still something intensely thrilling about hearing that staccato riffing chugging up through the dying kalimba intro and then tipping into the bone-crunching riff. Now with some brutal saw-mill sax slicing through the air, the piece has an added malevolence to it. It’s become something of a tradition in the flute solo for Mel to slip in a knowing reference for the local crowd. Tonight, it’s the turn of the Danish national anthem Der Er Et Yndigt Land" (There Is A Lovely Country).
