Tony Levin has often stated that the running lines of TCOL, originally devised by Trey Gunn, are without doubt the most challenging piece he plays within Crimson. Running through a mental checklist, only when he’s ready does he give the nod to Pat Mastelotto to trigger the piano note sample and let the galloping begin.
