Show Notes

Never before have Crimheads had this kind of access to the development of the band as a live entity. Other incarnations have had to make to do with patchy audience boots, and in some cases even those are scant on the ground. We’ve heard the band move from tentative and sometimes, faltering steps to a confidence that goes beyond the merely professional.

“Gracias. As this is unfortunately our last evening here we’d like to say thank you to our entire production team, to all the crew that we’ve had here who’ve worked with us. You don’t see them but they’re all over the place, on the stage, back there at the mixing board, at the lights, and we’d especially say thanks to all of you who’ve made this a very special beginning for the new King Crimson here in Argentina. Thank you!” announces Belew at the end of a terrific gig.

The next time the new King Crimson would take to a public stage would be in the New Year seven months later in Italy but first they were off to England and Real World studios to record Thrak.
