"With so many top tier songs in this setlist the Cumberland blues may get overlooked but it was an absolute ripper. Jeff was a freight train that went off the rails at top speed. He kept looking at the band and you could tell they just said “keep going” "

"My first time seeing any iteration of the dead live, I've been a die hard fan for 7 years and finally got the opportunity to drive 14 hours from Nova Scotia to New York to see my first show. It was everything I wanted and more. Possibly the best night of my life and certainly the best concert I've ever been to. I was in paradise from the very start til the end. Getting to hear Eyes of the World live was my dream couldn't believe they went old school for the second set and played scarlet > fire > estimated > eyes. The first set was phenomenal aswell with franklins, fantasy > Hey jude and deal. The "All Blues" bust Out was incredible also. The ambient tension built upon drums / space > all blues then into cumberland was phenomenal. Mayer killed that Watchtower. Brokedown was a fitting farewell and really tugged at my heart strings. Couldn't have asked for anything else hopefully nothing is final. Music Never Stops ??????????"

"Coolest version of Dead Mr Fantasy. I was there live and his first solo was slow and took John Mayer a little to get into it. At the end when it was supposed to go into Hey Jude he yelled to the band “don’t end, don’t stop!” And ended with the craziest solo before going into Hey Jude! Band was so tight amazing night"

The band explores the songs with some great extended jams that echo 70s dead to me. I am so happy that my last show this tour was more than I could ask for. Of all the shows, the two at citifield, my favorite. Previous night is definitely worth a listen despite some major mistakes. ?? "

"I've been doing this since Hershey summer of 85 I was 8 years old. From that first show till the last show with hey in Chicago of 95.i saw the boys 176 times, and since Jerry I saw every rendition of the boys and when I say dead and company is by far the best of them all. Every year this band has gotten better and better. I've seen some great shows by Dead Co and this show here was incredible. Both nights were. Bobby sounds better then ever, John is killing it, Jeff and Oteil are just playing on another level. This show from start to finish was by far one of the best I've ever seen. They definitely closed out Citi Field in a special way. I can't believe this is the final tour. I highly recommend seeing them if you can't then please listen to them, specially this show... Straight ????????"
