"I originally responded to the Dead Head request in the Skull and Rose album in '71. Jerry Garcia was a super human. That being said, with Bobby Weir as front-man, this band is going places I never would have dreamed possible since that fateful day in '95. Fantastic show. "

"I’ve seen these guys five or six times. I didn’t have great seats at this show. I wasn’t high. Even so, this was the best of their concerts. The reason is that they are much more bluesy funky and dancy than I’ve ever seen them. The concert felt like Dead meets Thievery Corporation. These guys finally have a groove. I guess that guitar and bass players can sometimes talk lead singers into changing their act after 55 years. "
