I first saw him with the Allmans in 2009 and 2013 and I was blown away haha just made a deadhead pun and I didn’t even know it. ‘ITLL BLOW AWAY’ man they should play Brent songs, but I guess no one in the band has that gravelly voice needed for them except Bobby and he might not want to do Brent songs for some reason. Wow this is good smoking music"

"What an amazing setlist, show, and the crowd, wow. I was blown away by the jams John laid out with Bob's guitar guiding. The energy was right. Eyes of the world is unreal. El Paso, like whaaaaaa!? Amazeballs. I'm still floored. As smooth as ever. This show sounded more like old dead than I expected. Keyboards were outrageous! I had the rabbi next to me and he called out the first three songs to his daughter before the show started, I knew it was going to be an amazing show and the energy was on point. So unbelievably impressed the performance they laid down for their final show of the year. As the rabbi kept telling me when we were in sheer amazement "Just wait! Just wait for it! They're going to blow the lid off!" The best concert I've ever been to. "

"All and all an excellent show on everyone’s part. Billy was missed but brother Jay Lane did not disappoint. Rough patches include a failed attempt at a dark star reprise out of El Paso. the most obvious blunder occurred during Not Fade Away, the music just sort of vanished into thin air. Transition from scarlet into fire was weak. The rest of the show was flowing as it should. I give it a 90%. Shout out to the band and all the heads that made it out for Halloween. Thank you for the memories! "
