"Wow! That Dew was something special. John Boy was on his horse tonight. I’ve seen many shows and this 2 night Chicago run was as memorable as it gets. Finished off the Playing In The Band after a very emotional Brokedown. Little did I know at this time that the San Fran run would rank right up there with this one. I’m listening to all these shows almost a year later and my feelings and emotions are parallel with when I was there and in the moment. I’ll say it again, Wow. "

"I honestly feel bad for anyone who had field seats both nights because they likely have third degree burns on their faces from the shred fest John put on. Sugaree, Watchtower, and Dew really stood out to me."

"Saw both shows in Chicago. Both great. First set Friday and second set Saturday would be the best show ever. Loved Oteil on high time. Was sitting 4 rows behind the cubs dugout on Saturday and drums got the place echoing off the upper deck. Not to mention St. Stephen and 3 song encore. They're a band beyond description. "

"I’ve seen the dead play at wrigley three Saturday’s one in 19’ one in 22’ and now for this show. I thought last years show was the best concert I’ve ever seen. This years blew it out of the water. Outstanding performance. Best Althea and help on the way into slipknot I’ve ever heard. "

"That Bertha solo was COOKIN! Seems like John still had some face melting leftover from Watchtower. Help>Slip>Frank was the perfect Set 2 opener and the whole place was dancing during Franklins Tower. UJB and Brokedown had Wrigley singing like a choir. Not to mention the blistering pace of Cumberland blues.??A bittersweet and magical night."

"The Brokedown Palace > Playing reprise was perhaps my most unforgettable dead memory. So much emotion in the brokedown and I had been waiting all weekend for the playing reprise. Never thought we were gonna get it and here they snuck it in at the perfect time. What a treat; how lucky I am!"

"I’ve seen these guys 15 times, all were a joy. This tour I saw them in ATL,CLT, and Raleigh. Every show this tour has been fire! I do listen to every show as they become available and I will say I’m 100% sure when this tour is over- wrigley 6/10/23 is going to be one of the highlight shows talked about. Brokedown was awesome, dew, other one as I would say it relates to best versions of those songs played this tour. Outside of that they played everything else reallllly well."

"Both of these shows were so special. Friendly, happy people all around, an extraordinary city and venue, and some of the most energetic playing I've seen from any band. That Sugaree from 6/9 is one of the best experiences of live music I've ever witnessed. I was frustrated with the removal of Billy from this band, but if I'm being honest, it is tough to argue with the results. Hopefully, Billy and the kids will tour near me, so I can get my Billy fix too. "
