"This show was pure magic. Faced with incoming weather, the band played one extended set, and the result was unforgettable. A radiant “Half-Step” and fiery “Alabama Getaway” set the tone, but during “Jack Straw,” a double rainbow lit up the sky. The band played to it, as if honoring those smiling down from beyond. Highlights included a crackling “Franklin’s,” soulful “Sugaree,” and a heart-stopping “Morning Dew.” Closing with “Brokedown Palace,” it remains one of Dead "

"What an epic show. The rain just made it even better as far as im concerned. The DOUBLE rainbow during Jack Straw was one for the record books and a memory I will have amd cherish for life. The one long set was amazing. Possibly the best Dead and Co show ive seen. And its Philly, so you know its gonna be fire"

"Even though it was raining, it was a great concert! Saw a rainbow and heard some of my favorite songs like Alabama Getaway, Franklins Tower, Sugaree, Terrapin Station, Morning Dew, and One More Saturday Night! Dang I am so happy I went. "

"This tour is noticeably better than the ones that came before, though all of them certainly had their share of moments. But on a great tour, this is the best show. Maybe it’s the energy from the one-long-set crammed in before the hurricane, but they we just on fire here. The Other One in this show is sublime, simply breathtaking. They should make this one an album. Can I buy the video? I’d love to see what it looked like. I think this is probably the best Dead and Co show of all time, at least so far. One for the ages! (Though do yourself a favor and check out the mind-melting Cumberland Blues out of space on 9/11/21. Yes,‘Cumberland. I can’t explain it, go listen. Trust me.) (Third try! My previous two cut off at the ampersand. I’m glad I had the paranoia to copy my whole review before submitting it)"

"Hurticane’s a,comin! Insane single-set show. Hat’s off to the band for cramming in as much goodness as possible into 1 long set. Terrapin and Morning Dew in the same show, unreal. And Mickey killed it on the Beam during Space. I brought my 12-year old daughter to her first show and she had a blast. So grateful to share this music with her. Memories will never be forgotten. Thank you Bobby, Mickey, Billy, Oteil, Jeff, John and crew."

"Went to the show with my brother, took him to his first show at the Spectrum when he was 14. Jack Straw is our jam, the Rainbow ?? put it over the top. I'm 54 and he is 48. Took our significant others,the ladies first show, my,oh,my ain't no rain just Sunshine and Rainbows. God Bless Dead &Company. ?? "

"About 10:15 or so into Jack Straw the double rainbow ???? appears and the crown explodes. Has to be one my personal top concert moments of all time! What a great show!"

"The first two songs were mere openers but the Jack Straw and a rainbow launched this show into the stratosphere. Way up in section 320 the sound quality was OUTSTANDING. I predicted Jack Straw to open and almost opened and also said Terrapin Station had Tobe in the second set which h there wasn't butwe got enough Dead : Terrapin Estimated OtherOne Wheel and incredible Morning Dew this was an all time Philly spectacular ! Let it rock guys !"

"Spectacular fucking show, I was on the fence about Mayer when this incarnation started 6 years ago along with other people. I decided to do DC and just see. I could tell there was something special about him that night during The Other One. I ended up going to Greensboro the following week or whenever it was and that show just confirmed my thoughts. Each tour they got a little better. But this right here is something to truly behold. He is not hanging back looking all the time when to get cued from Bobby. He has gone full blast and broken that fucking leash. He is taking control now and taking his jams where he wants them. It's been a long 6 years of patiently waiting but he has arrived. He is gonna be the one that is gonna carry the younger generation and new comers into the future with the power that is Grateful Dead music!"
