Amazing crowd. Lots of fun despite the tough sonic environment (hiiiiiigh ceilings). Two encores for the first time in months. First and only time opening with Quarter Master. Loads of energy right out of the gate. Super fast. Really funky. Bill gets soulful on Rhodes. Loads of space. Crowd sets up the groove for Binky and holds it. Bullock gets dirty and Justin takes his time on trumpet. Outro goes P-Funk. Comes back for serious drum and percussion pocket. Straight into a straight Skate U. Bill gets tasty on both Rhodes and synth after. Mark takes his time on the outro groove. Crazy, chaotic intro to Whitecap. Reharmonization from Cory and a killer solo from Bullock. Maz bops on Kite. Cory dances through the outro and it gets funky. Bullock and Sput get in it on What About Me? Ready Wednesday gets funky and Justin owns on trumpet. Shofukan gets the crowd insisting on a second encore, and Cory plays over an up-tempo version of Robert “Sput” Searight - drums
